Why?... Why?...
Wright & Company is expanding its business and wants to employ a new executive. Your friend, Bill, an experienced executive, is currently unemployed and is looking for a position. From what Kalisha, the Vice President in charge at Wright, told you, the position would be perfect for Bill, and the Company will surely offer him the position because Wright desperately needs someone just like him. You know, because after you described Bill to Kalisha, she begged you to have Bill come in immediately, and she was willing to stay late to interview him.
You telephone Bill immediately to give him the good news. He is not home; his answering machine is full and not accepting messages. You keep trying.
Finally you reach Bill, ...ten days later! He had gone out of town because nothing was happening for him in the employment market. He is absolutely excited about the employment opportunity at Wright and he calls the Company right away. The Vice President says he is perfect for the job but, unfortunately, the position was filled the day before, and the new executive, who happened to walk in looking for a position, is performing very well. Why did Bill miss out on such a splendid opportunity? Why is his luck so bad?

Aga
Declines, But Thanks Anyway
|
Aga has strange eating habits and is sickly. You and your friend (who is a physician and a nutritionist) met him at a housewarming three nights ago. The doctor says that Aga appears grossly low in many vitamins and, since the deficiency is so obvious, she wonders how Aga is able to function at all. You want to help, so you telephone Aga and discretely ask if he takes vitamins. No, he doesnt. It is 11 a.m. and he is still in bed, weak and tired. You tell him what the doctor said and offer to give him some vitamins from your own stock.
Surprise of surprises, Aga declines your offer, explaining that he doesnt believe in vitamins. Vitamins, you tell him, are concentrated foods, not a religion requiring belief. He should try them and see. I know me, he insists, thanks anyway. And he hangs up the telephone before you could say anything more. Why has a man, who needs vitamins so badly, refused them for no good reason, you wonder. Why is he such a fool?
|
The
Answer
|
The
answer to the riddle of Bills and Agas strange situations
is the same. A good position at a company, and good personal
health, are both rewards, and neither one of these two people
has earned the reward they so sorely need. If someone has not
earned a particular reward, no matter how hard you try to give
it to him or her, no matter how much he or she may actually
need that reward, the person will find a way to reject it, even
when the rejection makes no sense at all. The key to the strange
behavior? The universal Reward Accounting System, a natural
System so powerful that it affects every
aspect of every persons
life, every minute of every
day.
Because of the extraordinary power of the universal Reward Accounting System, if you understand how it works and apply the knowledge in your own life, the result will be like turning a corner on a cold, dark night and walking into a warm sunny day. But, as the Teacher says, understanding and using any information, a situation known as clarity of understanding*, is itself a reward. Let us hope you have earned this reward. If not, you will find a reason to walk away from this information. Incredible, is it not?
|
What
Is The universal Reward Accounting System?
|
What then is this universal Reward Accounting System? It is Natures huge Information Storage and Processing System, which (a) tracks every deed and intent, and (b) delivers rewards for Good Deeds, notes neutral deeds, and delivers punishments for evil deeds. The tracking is 100% comprehensive, Fair and Just; the rewards or punishments are absolutely proportionate to the deeds they reward or punish. The Reward Accounting System is a manifestation of the First Great Natural Law, the Law of Personal Responsibility*, from whose relentless, perpetual operation, says the Message of the Morning Star, no one is exempt, no one can escape. How did this come about?
In 4-15 billion MSD, fifteen billion years ago, the Source decided to create the present Universe and give every creature, within its capabilities and limitations, an absolute freewill. In order to monitor and then to reward or punish every creatures exercise of that absolute freewill, the Source first established the universal Reward Accounting System, and then began to create beings to carry the responsibility, within that Accounting System, for each creature that will exercise the absolute freewill. The beings will be the means by which the Source will communicate with every creature, whether the creature is the direct handiwork of *the Creator* Itself or the handiwork of another creature.
These responsible beings are immortal. Once created, they cannot die. There is one in every creature. You know them as spirits.
|
Absolute
Freewill Actually Given
|
In 4-13 billion MSD, 2 billion years after the decision to create our Universe, the Source created this Universe, and sure enough, gave an absolute freewill to every creature. Since every creatures freewill is absolute, every creature may do whatever it chooses, limited only by the way its body is built, of course. But every act, which any creature does or does not do, has results and effects. Every act (or the intent behind that act) is either good, neutral, or evil. Some intents that do not result in any act at all can still be judged a completed act. Therefore, the intent behind an act can be a Good Deed, a neutral deed, or an evil deed. Here is an example:
Let us say that you are required to testify as a witness at a court trial. For reasons that you consider important, you intend to lie in your testimony for or against the accused person. But you never did, because the trial was canceled. What happens then? You will still be punished for the evil deed of bearing false witness, though you had only the intent. Your evil intent is counted and recorded as a completed evil deed done by you.
Every act and intent must be tracked in the universal Reward Accounting System and then rewarded if it is a Good Deed, noted if it is a neutral deed, or punished if it is an evil deed. And all that must be done in proportion to the seriousness or the significance of the deed in question.
In 4-4 billion MSD, 9 billion years after the present Universe was created, the Source created the Solar system, and with it, Planet Earth.
In 4-200 million MSD, 3 billion eight hundred million years after Planet Earth was created, which is 200 million years ago, the Source decided to elevate humankind to dominance over Planet Earth and began to make preparations. The Source would give humankind the same absolute freewill that It always gave to every creature, therefore, since humankind is just another of the many billions of creatures in the Universe, humankind would come under the universal Reward Accounting System. Consequently, the Source created spirits from time to time, to animate successions of human bodies and carry the perpetual responsibility for humankinds exercise of its absolute freewill. Those spirits, which have animated humankind since humankinds creation 590 million years ago, are known, naturally, as human spirits.
|
Human
Spirits Have Other Powers Too
|
There is something very interesting about human spirits: They can animate other creatures too, though the spirits of other creatures, such as animal or tree spirits, cannot animate a human body. Pause, and think about that.
In 4-5 million MSD, 195 million years after the Source began the preparations for the elevation of humankind to dominance, Planet Earth was finally ready. The Source then elevated to dominance the 144,000 humans at the geographic Center of the Earth*, touching that spot in the process. The spot that the Creator touched, naturally a unique spot because of it, is known as the Hallowed Ground#. It is located precisely at the Center of the Continental Drift#, in the heart of the tropical Rain Forest, on the Continent of Nubia#.
|
Reward
Account Always Opened
|
Whenever the Source creates a spirit, a Reward Account* is immediately opened in the name of that spirit. Every spirits Reward Account is carefully maintained and updated, whether the spirit is residing in a living creature, such as a human being or a tree, or is on the Other Side. And once open, a Reward Account is never closed, because, once created, every spirit lives forever. Your personal Reward Account is the personal Reward Account of the spirit who is currently reincarnated as you, the spirit that animates your body. At the end of any of your lives (whether as, say, a human being, as a seasonal river, or farm animal), the Reward Account stays with your immortal human spirit who has always owned it.
While you are alive, your permanently assigned Ancestors*s maintain your Reward Account because the Angels have assigned them to you for that purpose. Ancestors (also known as Holy Ghosts and Holy Spirits) and Angels (also known as Aggregated Spirits or Deities) are human spirits who had earned significant promotions because of their many Good Deeds. Some Angels, however, animated stars, comets, and planets long ago and predate the creation of human spirits, sometimes, by several billion years.
|
Guardian
Angels
|
Contrary to a common misunderstanding, your assigned Ancestors are not your guardian angels who attempt to put you at an advantage over your colleagues, friends, family, and neighbors. The idea that there are such frivolously scheming spirits is wishful thinking.
If you are threatened by an injury or untimely death and are saved miraculously, that is not the work of your Guardian Angels. It is the work of Errand Spirit*s who operate only under the universal Reward Accounting System. (See the subtitle Errand Spirits At Work in Report Number 8, in Volume 2 of the book, From The Writing Desk of The Teacher, by the same author. For more information on the book, please click From The Writing Desk.)
|
The
Work of Your Assigned Ancestors
|
Your assigned Ancestors observe, track, and assess your every deed and thought while you are awake, and they record their observations in your Reward Account while you sleep. It is your assigned Ancestors who arrange your rewards and your punishments, making sure that rewards and punishments are always Fair and Just as well as in proportion to the deeds.
The observation, tracking, and assessment of your every deed and thought goes on every second of every day, with never a break. It is therefore impossible to hide anything you do, though you do it in complete privacy, certain that you are all alone. You are never alone.
|
When Does Your Tracking Begin?
|
As soon as you, a newborn, are old enough to tell the difference between Good and evil, your assigned Ancestors begin to track your every deed (and intent) for your Reward Account*.
|
Ancestors
Are Perfectly Fair And Just
|
Every Ancestor is as perfectly Fair and Just as he or she can possibly be, because, being a spirit, every Ancestor has his or her own Reward Account and is, naturally, interested in doing what is right. The Reward Account of every spirit (including every Ancestor) is maintained by Angels, and the Reward Account of every Angel is maintained by the Source.
|
Who
Has Reward Accounts?
|
Cities, Schools, Business Organizations, or Nations, for example, have their own Reward Accounts, just as do the people whose lives are touched by them. Buildings, trees, rivers, rocks, and grass, being creatures, all have their own immortal spirits too, and therefore have their own individual Reward Accounts.
|
Group
Punishments Are Shared
|
Group
Punishments are always shared. As an example, when a Nation,
for example, is under Group
Punishment*, the Nation shares that Punishment
with its individual nationals, in proportion to each nationals
contribution to the Group
evil deed* of the Nation.
|
How
Old Are Human Spirits?
|
The oldest human spirits are 590 million years old, because the Source created the first group of them 590 million years ago, when It created humankind during the geological period known as the Cambrian Explosion. The spirit, which now animates your body, may therefore be up to 590 million years old. This is why The Message of The Morning Star: Part One says, with regard to the history of the creation of humankind, The history retold here is a reflection of an eyewitness account. If you were NOT present during the multi billion-year process of human creation, please learn this account, as history, from an eyewitness. If you WERE present, you may have forgotten. In that case, please consider this account a friendly reminder.
The eyewitness is the Angel Thoth* who has again returned to Planet Earth as the Message of the Morning Star. We quote from Report Number 6, titled Secret Societies Meet Their End, in the book, From The Writing Desk of The Teacher, Volume Two, Page 133, by the same author: Know also, says the Teacher, that Angel Thoth himself is the Message of the Morning Star. (For information on From The Writing Desk of The Teacher, please click From The Writing Desk.)

Every
Good Deed Has A Point Value
|
Every good thing you can see, feel, smell, touch, hear, taste, or otherwise experience in your life is a reward. And many (but by no means all) bad things you can can see, feel, smell, touch, hear, taste, or otherwise experience in your life are punishments. Not all bad things are punishments because some of them are presented for your education. Even so, every bad thing that is not a punishment still represents the punishable evil deeds of people who, in the exercise of their absolute freewill, have chosen to do evil deeds. Pause here; think about that. From both points of view.
Under the universal Reward Accounting System, every spirit has its own Reward Account*, and every deed has a Point Value. Every Good Deed earns so many Reward Points* (Rips), neutral deeds are noted but earn no points, and every evil deed earns so many Negative Reward Points* (Negs) PLUS so many Punishment Points* (Pips).
|
Every
Reward Has A Price
|
Every reward costs so many Reward Points (Rips), therefore if you want a particular reward, you must buy it with the Reward Points (Rips) in your Reward Account, but nothing can be bought on credit.
Therefore if you do not have the Reward Points (Rips) in your Reward Account, no amount of affirmations, visualizations, or prayer will bring that reward to you. Furthermore, the Rewards you seek must be Fair and Just or you will never be able to buy them. You might therefore say that unfair and unjust rewards are not available at any price, and that credit is not granted.
|
An
Evil Intent Can Be An Evil Deed
|
The
Reward Accounting System was organized to encourage Good Deeds.
From the point of view of humankind, the Source designed the
Reward Accounting System to advance the Great
Work of the Ages*. Because of that specific goal of
the Reward Accounting System, every evil deed earns double
trouble:
(1)
First, Negative Reward Points (Negs), which cancel out Reward
Points (Rips) of equal but opposite value in your Reward Account,
and
(2) Second, Punishment Points (Pips), which guarantee
you a punishment for every evil deed you do.
A good intent can be a Good Deed, and an evil intent can be an evil deed. Consider these two examples:
(1) If you plan to treat Andrew to lunch at his dream restaurant, and you call him to confirm it just before you leave for his office. When you arrive, you discover he has a sudden crisis in his office and cannot go. You will still earn all the Reward Points (Rips) for taking him to lunch, though you never did. Your genuine good intent is assessed and recorded as a completed Good Deed.
(2) You are required to testify as a witness at a court trial. For reasons that you consider important, you intend to lie in your testimony for or against the accused person. But the trial is canceled, so you never testify. You will still receive the full Negative Reward Points (Negs) plus the full Punishment Points (Pips) for the evil deed of bearing false witness, though it was only an intent.
|
Saving
Up Your Reward Points
|
You may save up your Reward Points (Rips), as if they were money. If you are working on several rewards, which have different prices in Reward Points (Rips), you can save up your Reward Points (Rips) until you have enough to buy any of the rewards you want, even if that particular reward costs more than any other on your list.
How
can you do this? How can you avoid squandering your Reward Points
on cheaper rewards when the big, expensive reward is the one
you want first? Here is how:
To save up your Reward Points and use them only in the order you want, make a Reward List of all the rewards you happen to be seeking at this time. Then arrange the rewards in the order in which you would like to receive them. You can change the order at any time.
Once once you have made a list, your Ancestors automatically accept the list and record it in your Reward Account, provided your Reward Account has Reward Points (Rips) in it. If you have only Negative Reward Points (Negs) and Punishment Points (Pips) in your Reward Account, your Account is in Negative Balance. If your Reward Account is in Negative Balance, your Reward List is automatically rejected and ignored by the System until your Reward Account returns to Positive Balance, after you have done enough Good Deeds to wipe out the deficit. Pause again; think about that.
A Reward List does not have to be in writing. A list you hold only in your mind is just as effective.
If you do not have a Reward List, your rewards will come in a haphazard manner. You may therefore find that you never receive your big rewards because you have been squandering your few Reward Points (Rips) on cheap, frivolous rewards. It is as if, instead of saving up to pay your college tuition, you have been squandering your money on candy and cigarettes.
|
Giving
Your Reward Points Away
|
Note this surprising point: You can give your Reward Points away to someone else. You cannot lend them, or borrow them, but you can give them away. And that is a Good Deed.
This
is how it works:
(1) First, the person to whom you want to give the Reward Points
must have earned the reward of receiving transferred Reward
Points. If not, the Reward Points will come back to you, with
a bonus, because in such a case, your intent to give your Reward
Points away is a completed Good Deed.
(2) Second, you will make a conscious, freewill transfer of, say, 20% of the points required to regain good health after, say, a surgical operation. Once you have transferred your Reward Points to someone who can accept them, they are gone. You cannot take back your Reward Points, once you have given them away.
|
How
Many Points Does A Good Deed Earn?
|
The Teacher says that though the exact number of Reward Points earned by Good Deeds, or Negative Reward Points and Punishment Points earned by evil deeds, is not known, you should be aware that the Reward Accounting System is completely Fair and Just. You will therefore receive exactly the number of Points you earn, whether it is Reward Points (or Bonus Reward Points*), Negative Reward Points, or Punishment Points. You will never receive less - or more.
When in doubt, do more Good Deeds because, like good health, you can never have too much of Reward Points. You will need Reward Points for the rest of your life, and, as a spirit, you will live forever.
|
How
To Utilize What You Have Learnt
|
To put what you have now learnt about the universal Reward Accounting System to use, WeMSA invites you to do the following:
1. Make A Number One List: Make a Reward List of all the rewards you would like; it is your Number One List. When you want another reward, just go back to this list and add it on.
2. Make A Number Two List: Arrange the rewards in the order in which you want them. Place at the top of your list, the reward you would like to receive first, and arrange the others in your order of preference. This is your Number Two List. If your order of preference changes, simply go back to this Number Two List and make the changes.
3. Begin to do Good Deeds in every situation in which you find yourself. Do significant Good Deeds such as dismantling and discarding your Book of Anger*, honoring your parents and elders, and perhaps becoming a Morning Star Volunteer.
The Reward Points will go into your Reward Account even if the person to whom you did your Good Deeds does not say thank you, or is not even aware that it was you who did the Good Deed. Remember that your assigned Ancestors are always with you, and they observe, assess, record and reward (or punish) every deed you do.
The
most important Good Deeds naturally earn the largest Reward
Points. Among the most important Good Deeds are:
(a) Dismantling and discarding your Book of Anger. (This is
the most important Good Deed you can do.),
(b) Honoring your parents and elders, and
(c) Becoming a Morning Star Volunteer.
Are you wondering what to do that would be Good Deeds in the Reward Accounting System, and so earn you Reward Points? (For Good Deed ideas, see Good Deeds: List of 73 Suggestions. It is Section Nine of the book titled Rebuild Your Nation, by the same author. For more information on the book, click please click on Rebuild Your Nation. Or, directly for the List, please send four United States dollars to Chenax Majesty IP, Inc., P. O. Box 1840, New York, NY 10156. You may click here for a sample: GOOD DEEDS: List of 73 Suggestions.
Do 8 Good Deeds Everyday: The Message of the Morning Star advises that you do 8 Good Deeds everyday but, if you are working on big rewards, 8 Good Deeds a day will not be nearly enough. You must do more, after all, you are doing them for yourself, and Reward Points never go to waste.
4. Stop doing evil deeds altogether, because they cost you valuable Reward Points, and they bring you guaranteed punishment, every time.
Avoid These 19 Evil Deeds: Here is a short list of 19 evil deeds not to do. Do not do any of these even when the temptation to do them is strong. The list in taken from Message of the Morning Star: Part One, in the book titled The Message of The Morning Star, by the same author. A brief description of the book appears at The Message of The Morning Star.
List of 19 evil deeds to avoid: (1) Being Unfair and Unjust, (2) Oppressing people, (3) Taking what is not yours, (4) Ruling other Nations, (5) Killing people intentionally, (6) Assuming the worst in others, (7) Acid tongue*, (8) Gossiping, (9) Breaching the privacy of others, (10) Cruelty*, (11) Spreading false rumors, (12) Bearing false witness*, (13) Spreading news to cause or increase interracial hatred, (14) Intentionally destroying property, (15) Refusing to nurture your child, (16) Wishing other people ill, (17) Damaging the environment, (18) Failing to honor your father and your mother, and (19) Telling any lies.
|
When
Will Your Rewards Begin?
|
If you do enough Good Deeds and no evil deeds, you will begin to see your wonderful rewards flowing into your new, lower-stress life. But how soon? That will depend on the present status of your Reward Account, the Point Values of the Good Deeds you are willing to do, the Negative Reward Points (Negs) of the evil deeds you do not want to stop, the price of the rewards you seek, and the order in which you want your rewards.
But even if you do not see immediate results, continue to do Good Deeds anyway. You can never lose: The universal Reward Accounting System is always Fair and Just and will unavoidably treat you exactly right.
